Peer Review Process

In the article review process, INDOGENIUS involves several parties, including authors, editors, section editors, and reviewers. The journal employs a Double-Blind Peer Review system, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential from one another. This system aims to maintain objectivity, independence, and integrity throughout the manuscript evaluation process.

Stages of the Review Process

1. Initial Editorial Screening (Desk Evaluation)

Every submitted manuscript is first screened by an editor or section editor. At this stage, the following aspects are evaluated:

- Relevance to the journal's scope.

- Compliance with INDOGENIUS's author guidelines.

- Completeness of the manuscript structure.

- Overall quality of the manuscript's content.

If a manuscript does not meet the requirements or fails to comply with the journal's author guidelines, it will be returned to the author for revision before proceeding to the next stage.

2. Peer Review Process

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are sent to reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject matter of the article.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts objectively based on the criteria outlined in the Article Review Form for Reviewers, which covers novelty, methodology, data analysis, discussion, and scientific contribution.

The review process generally takes approximately four (4) weeks, depending on the complexity of the manuscript and reviewer availability.

3. Revision by Authors

Based on the reviewers' evaluations, a manuscript may receive one of the following decisions:

- Accepted without revision.

- Accepted with minor revisions.

- Accepted with major revisions.

- Rejected.

If revisions are required, authors must address the reviewers' comments and make the necessary corrections within the specified deadline.

4. Final Decision

Once the revision process has been completed and the manuscript is deemed to meet the journal's scientific standards, the editor will make the final decision regarding its publication.

Through this review mechanism, INDOGENIUS is committed to ensuring that every published article undergoes a rigorous and transparent selection and peer-review process that upholds the highest standards of scientific publication ethics.
