ABOUT INDOGENIUS
Electronic Filing
INDOGENIUS JOURNAL uses an electronic journal management system based on Open Journal Systems (OJS) to receive and process manuscripts, communicate with authors, coordinate peer review, manage revisions, and prepare accepted articles for publication. All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal's official online submission system.
The journal's official website is available at https://genius.inspira.or.id/index.php/indogenius/indexing Authors are required to register or log in to their accounts before submitting manuscripts and must follow the latest author guidelines and editorial instructions provided on the journal website.
Submission Preparation
Before submission, authors must ensure that their manuscripts are complete, scientifically sound, clearly written, and relevant to the journal's focus and scope in nursing and healthcare sciences. Manuscripts must comply with the journal's current author guidelines, including requirements for manuscript organization, formatting, references, tables, figures, and ethical declarations.
Depending on the type and methodology of the study, authors may be required to provide the following documents:
1. A complete manuscript prepared according to the journal's prescribed template and formatting requirements.
2. Accurate author information, including full names, institutional affiliations, email addresses, and corresponding-author details.
3. Statements describing individual author contributions, where required.
4. Funding information and declarations of potential conflicts of interest.
5. Confirmation of manuscript originality and exclusive submission.
6. Research ethics approval or exemption documentation, where applicable.
7. Informed consent statements for research involving human participants, when required.
8. Permissions for the reproduction of copyrighted materials.
9. Supplementary files, research instruments, or data availability statements when requested by the editorial office.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted documents are accurate, complete, and consistent with the information provided through the electronic submission system.
Author Declarations
By submitting a manuscript to INDOGENIUS JOURNAL the corresponding author confirms that the manuscript represents original scholarly work, that all listed authors have approved its submission, and that the information provided is accurate and complete.
The manuscript must not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication by another journal. Authors must disclose any relevant prior dissemination, overlapping publications, related manuscripts, or circumstances that may affect the assessment of originality and research integrity.
All authors are expected to comply with accepted principles of publication ethics, including the prevention of plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, inappropriate authorship, and redundant publication.
Initial Editorial Screening
All submitted manuscripts are subject to an initial editorial screening to determine their suitability for further evaluation. The editorial team may assess the manuscript's relevance to the journal's focus and scope, compliance with author guidelines, completeness of submission documents, originality, ethical considerations, and overall scientific quality.
Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's technical or editorial requirements may be returned to authors for correction, clarification, or additional documentation. Manuscripts that fall outside the journal's scope or fail to meet minimum scholarly standards may be declined before external peer review.
Successful completion of the initial screening does not guarantee acceptance for publication. Editorial decisions are based on the manuscript's scientific merit, relevance, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and the outcomes of the applicable review process.
Peer Review, Revision, and Editorial Correspondence
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening may proceed to peer review according to the journal's established editorial procedures.
Authors are responsible for monitoring their accounts in the electronic submission system and checking their registered email addresses for editorial decisions, reviewer comments, revision requests, and other correspondence.
When revisions are requested, authors must submit the revised manuscript through the designated electronic system within the specified deadline. A point-by-point response explaining how reviewer comments have been addressed should accompany the revised submission.
If authors disagree with particular reviewer recommendations, they should provide clear and scientifically justified explanations. All revisions must be accurately documented, and substantial changes to the manuscript should be disclosed to the editorial office.
Final editorial decisions remain the responsibility of the authorized editorial team.
File Integrity and Security
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all uploaded files are complete, readable, properly formatted, and free from corrupted content or malicious software.
Manuscript files, tables, figures, supplementary materials, and supporting documentation must accurately represent the submitted research. Authors must ensure consistency between the manuscript and the metadata entered into the electronic submission system.
Authors are encouraged to retain secure copies of their original submissions, revised manuscripts, research data, ethical approval documents, and relevant correspondence for future reference.
The journal supports responsible electronic file management practices to maintain the integrity, reliability, and security of scholarly publication records.
Withdrawal and Editorial Communication
Authors who wish to withdraw a manuscript must submit a formal written request to the editorial office, clearly explaining the reason for withdrawal.
A manuscript should not be submitted to another journal until its withdrawal from Genius Journal has been formally confirmed. Withdrawal requests do not eliminate the authors' responsibility to address legitimate concerns relating to research integrity, publication ethics, or previously submitted information.
All correspondence with the editorial office must be professional, transparent, and accurate. Authors experiencing technical difficulties with manuscript submission, file uploads, or account access should contact the journal through the official communication channels provided on its website.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
Information submitted through the electronic journal management system is used for legitimate editorial, peer-review, publication, and administrative purposes.
Editors, reviewers, and authorized journal personnel are expected to maintain the confidentiality of unpublished manuscripts, research information, personal data, and editorial correspondence.
Unpublished materials must not be disclosed, reproduced, distributed, or used for personal or professional advantage without appropriate authorization.
Personal information collected during manuscript submission and editorial processing should be handled responsibly and used only for purposes consistent with the journal's editorial operations and applicable privacy requirements.
INDOGENIUS Journal is committed to maintaining responsible electronic manuscript management practices that support publication integrity, editorial transparency, confidentiality, and the efficient dissemination of scientific knowledge.
