Focus & Scope

GENIUS JOURNAL is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal that publishes high-quality manuscripts on innovative research covering all aspects of nursing and healthcare services. GENIUS JOURNAL aims to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of nursing practice, and healthcare services. The scope of topics covered the area of nursing.

There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details of each research paper need to be provided so that the results can be reproduced. Electronic files or software regarding the full details of the calculation and experimental procedure, if unable to be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary material.

Type of article

GENIUS JOURNAL welcomes all types of articles submitted on original research including quantitative, qualitative, and mixed method studies. We also received a type of review article, concept analysis and concept development, Case study/case series, Short communication, as well as meta-analysis with high quality. 

Original research:

The original research is commonly published full reports of data from research findings. It may be called an Original Article, or Research Article depending on the journal. The Original Research format is suitable for many different fields including the Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections.

Review articles:

Review Articles is a comprehensive summary of previous research on a certain topic, and a perspective on the state of the field. It should provide an overview of current thinking on the theme. Review Articles also should describe a critical evaluation of the data available from existing studies, and identify potential research areas to explore next. Therefore, the new conclusions from the existing data could be concluded. 

Case studies:

The case study should report specific instances of interesting phenomena. The case study also needs to describe the case presentation to report the occurrence of previously unknown or emerging pathologies, the process of intervention, and what has occurred after an intervention. Therefore, other researchers could aware of the possibility of a specific phenomenon that might occur

Theory and concept development:
Theory and Concepts development article should provide a way in which to clarify and provide a foundation for practice and research to make the investigation meaningful and worthwhile
 
Perspective:
Perspectives present a new and unique viewpoint on existing problems, fundamental concepts, or prevalent notions on a specific topic, propose and support a new hypothesis, or discuss the implications of a newly implemented innovation. Perspective may focus on current advances and future directions on a topic and may include original data as well as personal opinions.
 
Study Protocol
The study protocol should describe how a clinical trial will be conducted (the objective(s), design, methodology, statistical considerations, and organization of a clinical trial,) and ensures the safety of the trial subjects and integrity of the data collected
