Aims & Scope

Genius Journal (General Nursing Science Journal) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing nursing science, holistic nursing care, and evidence-based nursing practice. The journal publishes original research and scholarly contributions that improve nursing interventions, patient outcomes, healthcare quality, and professional nursing development across clinical, community, and educational settings. The journal emphasizes scientifically grounded nursing research that integrates biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of health. It encourages methodological diversity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovative approaches to addressing contemporary challenges in nursing and healthcare.

The scope of Genius Journal includes:

Holistic and Integrative Nursing: Holistic care, complementary nursing interventions, spiritual care, and person-centered nursing.

Medical-Surgical Nursing: Nursing interventions and outcomes in acute, chronic, critical, and rehabilitative care.

Community and Family Health Nursing: Health promotion, disease prevention, home-based nursing, family care, and community empowerment.

Maternal, Pediatric, and Women's Health Nursing: Reproductive health, maternal and child nursing, adolescent health, and women's healthcare.

Genius Journal welcomes quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental, observational, methodological, and evidence-synthesis studies, as well as theoretical and conceptual contributions relevant to nursing science.

Manuscripts must demonstrate scientific rigor, ethical compliance, originality, and clear implications for nursing practice, education, management, or policy. Studies without a substantive contribution to nursing knowledge or professional nursing practice are considered outside the journal's scope.

Through its collaboration with the Indonesian Holistic Nurses Association (HPHI), West Java Regional Chapter, Genius Journal also promotes the development and dissemination of evidence-based holistic nursing research while maintaining a broad and inclusive focus on general nursing science.
