SYSTEMATIC REVIEW: Efektivitas Aquatic Therapy dan Land-Based Exercise dalam Manajemen Nyeri dan Kualitas Hidup Pasien Osteoartritis Lutut

Tujuan: Osteoarthritis (OA) adalah penyakit sendi degeneratif dengan ciri kerusakan yang terus-menerus pada tulang rawan di sendi, disertai rasa nyeri, kekakuan, dan keterbatasan dalam bergerak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan efektivitas aquatic therapy dan land-based exercise dalam manajemen nyeri dan kualitas hidup pasien osteoartritis lutut.
Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah systematic revie, yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari berbagai artikel ilmiah yang membahas intervensi fisioterapi berbasis latihan terhadap gangguan muskuloskeletal, khususnya pada pasien dengan osteoartritis lutut, nyeri muskuloskeletal, atau kondisi neuropati diabetik. Penelusuran artikel dilakukan melalui dua database utama, yaitu: Google Scholar dan PubMed.
Hasil: Hasil kajian dari beberapa penelitian terbaru menunjukkan bahwa pemberian terapi pada pasien dengan osteoarthritis mendapatkan hasil dalam mengurangi nyeri, meningkatkan mobilitas, keseimbangan, dan kualitas hidup, baik secara fisik maupun mental.
Kesimpulan: Pada pasien OA Knee permasalahan yang terjadi adalah adanya nyeri sendi, penurunan rentang gerak, gangguan keseimbangan, serta penurunan kualitas hidup. Intervensi fisioterapi yang dapat diberikan untuk pasien osteoarthritis (OA) yaituland- based exercise dan aquatic therapy.
