(mango) is a tropical plant valued in traditional medicine and rich in bioactive compounds such as mangiferin, quercetin, and catechin, known for antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antidiabetic, hepatoprotective, and immunomodulatory activities. Despite increasing research, no comprehensive bibliometric mapping of its pharmacological potential and bioactivity has been conducted.

Objective: To analyze global research trends, influential contributors, and thematic foci on the pharmacological potential and bioactivity of Mangifera indica L. using a Scopus-based bibliometric approach.

Method: Publications from 2015–2024 were retrieved from Scopus using defined Boolean search terms. Only English-language journal articles in the final publication stage were included, resulting in 305 records. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2021, Bibliometrix/Biblioshiny, and VOSviewer to evaluate performance indicators, thematic evolution, and network visualization of co-authorship, co-citation, and keyword co-occurrence.

Kesimpulan: Annual publications peaked in 2023 (n=50) and 2024 (n=54), showing growing scholarly interest. Industrial Crops and Products was the most influential journal, strongly linked to Molecules and Food Chemistry. CASAS L and MANTELL C were the most productive authors (7 articles each), while Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology led institutional output (47 articles). India was the most prolific country and a central hub for collaborations. Keyword mapping revealed two clusters: phytochemistry and bioactivity, and methodological advances. Research on Mangifera indica L. has expanded significantly in the last decade, bridging pharmacognosy, food science, and nanotechnology. However, gaps remain in translational research and clinical application.
Niken Dwi Astuti Peppy Octaviani Rani Prabandari Copyright (c) 2025 Pharmacy Genius https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-10-30 2025-10-30 4 3 98 112 10.56359/pharmgen.v4i3.855 Pharmacological Potential and Bioactivity of Pandanus spp.: A Scopus-Based Bibliometric Analysis https://genius.inspira.or.id/index.php/pharmgen/article/view/861
ntroduction: Pandanus spp. are tropical plants widely recognized for their ethnomedicinal use and diverse phytochemical constituents, including flavonoids, alkaloids, and phenolic compounds with pharmacological potential. Despite this, global research on Pandanus remains fragmented and lacks systematic mapping.

Objective: This study aimed to perform a bibliometric analysis of Pandanus research related to pharmacological potential and bioactivity using Scopus-indexed literature.

Method: A Scopus search was conducted using taxonomic and pharmacological keywords without time restrictions, limited to English-language articles, reviews, and conference papers. Eligible records were analyzed with Bibliometrix (Biblioshiny) for bibliometric indicators and VOSviewer for visualization. Metrics included publication trends, citations, authorship, institutional and country contributions, co-citation networks, and keyword co-occurrence.

Conclusion: Between 1984–2024, publications exhibited steady growth, with early studies maintaining citation relevance for decades. Productivity was concentrated among a few authors, notably Nonato MG, supported by institutions such as Universiti Malaysia Terengganu and other Southeast Asian universities. Collaboration networks were primarily Asia-centered, with Indonesia and India as key hubs. Keyword mapping revealed four thematic clusters: phytochemistry and antioxidants, taxonomy and isolation, pharmacology and metabolism, and ethnomedicine. The Journal of Ethnopharmacology emerged as the primary publication outlet. Pandanus research reflects sustained interest, regional leadership, and thematic diversity. Broader international collaborations and advanced pharmacological investigations are essential to fully realize the therapeutic promise of Pandanus-derived compounds.
Aji Setiyoputro Galih Samodra Rani Prabandari Copyright (c) 2025 Pharmacy Genius https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-10-30 2025-10-30 4 3 113 126 10.56359/pharmgen.v4i3.861 Analisis Bibliometrik Terkait Tren Teratogenik https://genius.inspira.or.id/index.php/pharmgen/article/view/912

Terjadi peningkatan signifikan publikasi lima tahun terakhir, terutama pada jurnal The Science of The Total Environment.

Ira Maharani Ilham Alifiar Yedy Purwandi Sukmawan Copyright (c) 2025 Pharmacy Genius https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-10-30 2025-10-30 4 3 127 134 10.56359/pharmgen.v4i3.912
