Napping during night shifts has been proposed as a strategy to reduce fatigue and enhance nurses' performance. Method: This study aims to analyze the effect of 90-minute healthy napping on the performance of night shift nurses at the Inpatient Installation of RSU Mitra Sejati Medan. This research employs a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. A total of 108 nurses participated in the study and were divided into two groups, each taking a 90-minute nap between 01:00–02:30 AM and 02:30–04:00 AM. Nurses’ performance was measured before and after the intervention using a questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Result: The results indicate a significant improvement in nurses' performance following the intervention (p = 0.000). Before the intervention, the majority of nurses had a moderate performance level (60.2%), with only 11.1% exhibiting good performance. After the intervention, 61.1% of nurses improved to the good performance category. Conclusion: This study concludes that 90-minute healthy napping is effective in enhancing night shift nurses' performance. Implementing this strategy can serve as a solution to maintaining service quality during night shifts.
2025-04-17T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Cecep Triwibowo, Nurani Martina Siregar, Elfinahttps://genius.inspira.or.id/index.php/indogenius/article/view/566Characteristics of Wound Assessment According to Meggit-Wagner and Pedis and Spiritual Response in Diabetic Ulcer Patients at RSUD Dr. Soekardjo Tasikmalaya City2025-03-19T21:07:44+07:00Bayu Brahmantiabrahmantiabayu481@gmail.comYuyun Solihatinyuyunsolihatin@umtas.ac.idHeri Budiawanpotrethery@gmail.com
Background & Objective: Diabetic ulcer is one of the complications of diabetes mellitus. The existence of company support in terms of providing child care in the workplace, a special room for expressing breast milk, and sufficient rest time for expressing breast milk are several supporting factors for the success of exclusive breastfeeding. This research aims to find out how garment companies in Bandung give their female workers the right in the form of time to provide exclusive breastfeeding, as well as to find out the legal protection for female workers to provide exclusive breastfeeding based on Law no. 36 of 2009 concerning health is linked to Law no. 13 of 2003 concerning employment. Method: normative juridical is presented descriptively and analytically. Result: At the garment factory in Bandung district, there is no ideal place or room for breastfeeding or expressing breast milk, and special opportunities for breastfeeding or expressing breast milk have not been provided during working hours, which means the company has not implemented the provisions of the legislation. So it can be said that legal protection for female workers in garment factories in Bandung district is not optimal enough in protecting the right to breastfeed for female workers. Conclusion: In garment companies in Bandung Regency, there is no ideal place or room for breastfeeding or expressing breast milk, and special opportunities for breastfeeding or expressing breast milk have not been provided during working hours so the rights of female workers are not implemented and are not by the provisions regulated in Law no. 36 of 2009 concerning Health.
2025-02-10T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Sri Wulan Ratna Dewihttps://genius.inspira.or.id/index.php/indogenius/article/view/491The Relationship Between Knowledge and Early Mobilization in Postoperative Laparatomy Patients in The Inpatient Room RSUD Praya Inpatient Room2025-02-09T12:03:06+07:00Lalu Hersika Asmawarizaasmawarizalalu@gmail.com
Background & Objective: Surgery is an invasive action (affecting the integrity of body tissue) by opening up parts of the body for repair.
